Support Group Sessions
Support group meets on the first Monday of the month (2nd Monday if holiday) at 6:30 PM. It will last until 7:00 or 7:15 PM and then we will have the T-tapp exercise class for our surgical patients who wish to participate. Support is such a necessary part of your long-term weight management success. When you first have your surgery and the weight is coming off quickly, a strong support system helps you deal with both the physical and emotional issues that come up.
Quality Counts
Lose more fat and take your health up a notch or two by looking at the quality of the food you eat. Since portions are small, make them as nutrient dense and "clean" as possible. "Clean" means eliminating processed or altered food with added chemicals that do not add to your health and vitality.
Trans fats or plastic fats are found in a huge number of foods. The FDA allows a small amount of transfat when the label contains no trans fat, but your body knows the difference.
